#25 D.Baxter Arizona diamondbacksPower Ranking #26
Team: Arizona Diamondbacks Mascot Name: D.Baxter For our #25 on our mascot power rankings D.Baxter of the Arizona DiamondBacks makes for an interesting conversation. Although the team is centered around a snake, a snake does not make for a cuddly mascot that children can love. Hence D.Baxter the mascot was born. D.Baxter has been around for 17 years now, he was revealed in the 2000 season. The original idea for Baxer came from former Diamondbacks second basemen Jay Bells son. Bell's son figure they should have a BOB cat as their mascot considering they played in " Bank One Ballpark (BOB)" @ the time. Since then Baxter has won over Dbacks fans considering he has a scary but yet cuddly persona.
