As the summer begins, so does the traveling for our website. We are set to take the biggest trip of this websites history. We prepare ourselves for to take our services to the Mid-West and some parts of the East Coast.
We began our trip by flying to the warm and relaxed state of Wisconsin to visit the Milwaukee Brewers. During this trip, we encountered an array of different experiences. The first one was transportation in different cities. In the city of Milwaukee, transportation is very tough. So, make sure you are ready to pay top dollar for a cab or an app based service (Uber, Lyft). Just a disclaimer we spent more money in the city of Milwaukee then we did in Chicago. Overall Milwaukee is a quiet area, not much to do and the city sleeps at a very early time.
If you are into that Milwaukee is the city for you.
Well on the plus side Miller Park provides any baseball fan with a rich experience. When we think of Milwaukee today, we really don’t see it as a baseball town. But! Let me tell you that Milwaukee is indeed a baseball town. The city of Milwaukee has a very interesting baseball story. Considering they were the home of the braves and were stripped of their team and left with no baseball. BUT one man named Bud Selig came and fixed that problem.
Bud Selig the former commissioner of baseball fought for the city of Milwaukee and showed Major League Baseball that the people of Milwaukee deserved baseball. After many years of petitioning and raising money. Professional baseball was revived in Milwaukee. The Brewers were awarded to the city that wanted baseball.
This is what makes Milwaukee a baseball town.
So, if you want to see this travel to Miller park which has a virtual tour of the life and history of Bud Selig and the Brewers. Miller park offers a great experience for any baseball fan. The ballpark is indoors, considering that Milwaukee is known for their rain. We had the privilege to sit 5 rows behind the third base line but we took time from the game to sit at other parts of the ballpark and let me tell you. There is not a bad seat in the house and I really mean that. The view from the top is clear and you can enjoy a game with you and friends or if you have a large family you can take them and not break the bank.
The food was solid, they offer a lot of sausage based food and cheese can forget the cheese. Wisconsin is known for their cheese and let me tell you. It is good. I am not a huge cheese fan but trust me when I say it is ”good”.
Overall Miller Park itself is a cheap experience, the city not so much. So, best recommendations is to enjoy a game for one night and head to see the White Sox and the Cubs. Their only an hour or so away. It’s a great way to kill two to three birds with one stone.
